Peakline is a mobile repair shop based in Kanata. There's no waiting room and no dropping the car off for the day, because the tools come to the car instead.
Why mobile
Why we work this way
Brakes, tires, suspension, batteries and diagnostics never needed a hoist. What they need is the right tools, the correct torque specs and somebody who has done the job before, and all of that fits in the back of a truck.
- We work weeknights from 5pm and all day on weekends, so nobody has to book a day off.
- Based in Kanata, out across Stittsville, Barrhaven, Nepean and Ottawa.
- Parts we supply are warrantied for two years, and our labour for six months.
The truck
It used to be an ambulance
The service truck is a converted ambulance, which is a better starting point than it sounds: the cabinets, the power and the lighting were already built for working out of the back of it after dark, and after dark is most of what we do. It also goes in the local Santa Claus parade every December, covered in lights.
