What the trip costs
Travel fees by postal code
There's no call-out fee in the core area. Everywhere else has a flat fee set by the first three characters of your postal code, and you'll see it on the estimate alongside the labour and the parts. A fuel surcharge is added to the estimate to cover the drive to you.

Out in the country
A rural postal code covers a lot of ground. K0A runs from Carp, which is closer to us than Barrhaven, out to Vernon, which is further than Orleans, so one fee across it would be the wrong fee for most of the people asking. Not on the list? We don't have a set fee for that one yet. We work within 160 km of Kanata, so send us a message with where you are and we'll price the trip before you commit to anything.
Quebec: We can't quote across the river yet. We're still working out what Peakline needs to operate legally in Quebec, and we'd rather say that than quote you a price we can't stand behind.
There's a hard edge at 160 km from Kanata. Past that a truck needs an electronic logging device and ours doesn't have one, so it isn't a question of price. We'd rather tell you that now than after you've asked.
We'll come out where we can. A $50 emergency fee applies to urgent call-outs without an appointment, and anything outside our posted hours. We will tell you before anything is booked.
