Kanata
Kanata is where the truck starts and ends its day. It's also the only part of the service area where the drive costs you nothing, because all four Kanata postal codes sit in the no-fee band.
What the trip costs
Kanata splits into four postal codes and every one of them is on the no-travel-fee line of our table. There's no call-out charge to add and nothing for you to check.
| Postal code | Covers | Travel fee |
|---|---|---|
K2K |
Kanata North | No travel fee |
K2L |
Kanata Central | No travel fee |
K2M |
Kanata South: Bridlewood, Trailwest, Blackstone | No travel fee |
K2T |
Kanata West | No travel fee |
Two codes on the edge of Kanata sit one band out: K2W (March) and K2V (Bradley Commons, Fernbank Crossing, Abbottsville Crossing) are $15 + tax. A fuel surcharge is added to the estimate either way, and you'll see both numbers before you agree to anything.
Where we can work
If the car is parked somewhere we can get a jack under it safely, that's where the job happens.

The usual Kanata call
Brakes are more of our work than anything else: pads, rotors, and the caliper that has seized solid after a winter of salt. After that it's seasonal tire changeovers, on or off rims, and the suspension noise you've been living with since spring.
Before you call
Not in Kanata and not anywhere else, because they need a hoist, a rack or a licence that doesn't fit in a truck.
Ask anyway. We can usually point you at someone good.
Book it in
Tell us the year, make and model and what it's doing. You get the cost of the work and the travel before anything is booked.
Where we go
Each town has its own page with the postal codes that apply there and what the trip costs.
