Carp is a short run west of our base in Kanata, and it's one of the places where we don't have a published price for the drive.
What the drive costs
Carp is K0A, and K0A isn't on the table
Our travel fees are set by the first three characters of a postal code. Carp shares the rural K0A code with a long list of villages spread over a very wide area, including Dunrobin, Ashton, North Gower and Munster, so one flat fee for the whole of it would end up wrong for somebody.
So we haven't set one. We don't have a set fee for that one yet. We work within 160 km of Kanata, so send us a message with where you are and we'll price the trip before you commit to anything.
- The travel gets priced with the job, and you see it before you agree to anything.
- Once it's quoted it's flat. It isn't metered and it doesn't get adjusted afterwards.
Kanata itself has no travel fee at all, so if you're on the Kanata side of the line, that page has the codes.
What we bring
What we can do out there
Brakes, tires and TPMS, suspension, diagnostics, tune-ups, batteries, exhaust, accessory installs and pre-purchase inspections, all done on your own property. Out that way there's usually plenty of room to work.
- No oil changes, alignments, A/C work or provincial safeties. Those need a hoist, a rack or a licensed station.
- Everything we do: brakes, tires, suspension, diagnostics, tune-ups, electrical, exhaust and inspections. The four we get called about most have a page each: brakes, tires, suspension and diagnostics.
- The full travel-fee table: all 60 postal codes, with a checker for yours.
- Fees, warranty and payment: the emergency call-out, customer-supplied parts, and which parts the two-year warranty covers.
- Jobs we've done: photos from driveways around the west end.
- We also rent a 20 ft equipment trailer. Picked up in Kanata, $150 a day, and the winch, straps and chocks come with it.
