Brakes in Kanata
Pads, rotors, calipers and the lines between them, done on your driveway while the car sits where it already is.
Kanata
Seasonal changeovers, flat repairs, balancing and TPMS sensors, on your driveway instead of a queue at a tire shop in the first week of November. We come to you in Kanata, weeknights from 5pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, so the car is fixed without a day off work.
Why people call
You do not have to know what the part is called. These are the words people actually use, and any one of them is enough to book on.
Kanata, specifically
The changeover rush in Kanata starts the week the first snow is forecast and every tire shop between Hazeldean and March Road books out for two weeks. Doing it on your driveway is mostly about not spending a Saturday in a waiting room, and there is a second reason: if we take the winters off in April and the rears have worn unevenly, the car is right there to look at the suspension corner that did it. Send the tires to a garage and nobody ever asks.
On the truck
How long it takes. A changeover on rims is about forty-five minutes. Off rims, with balancing, is closer to two hours.
What we will not do on a driveway. A tire that has been driven flat has usually taken the sidewall with it, and a sidewall is not repairable by anybody. We will show you what we are looking at before patching something that should be replaced.
Where the car can be
Kanata is where the truck starts and finishes, so it is the easiest place in the service area to get to on a weeknight. A driveway or a surface visitor space is all we need. The one thing to check is underground parking: a lot of the townhouse and condo blocks around Kanata Lakes and Bridlewood park below ground, and we cannot work down there. Book a visitor space outside and leave the car in it.
Areas we are in most weeks: Kanata North, Kanata Lakes, Bridlewood, Katimavik, Morgan's Grant, Trailwest.
What it costs
There is no price on this page on purpose. A tire job depends on the vehicle, the parts it takes and what is found once a wheel is off, and a number written here would either be wrong or be something you have to argue about in a driveway.
You get the cost of the work and the travel together, before anything is booked, and nothing is charged until you have said yes. The travel band for every postal code we serve is on the service-area page.
What people say
“I wish this service had been available when I was a commuter. Honest, reliable, top quality parts and service, all in your driveway after work hours and on weekends. No scrambling to get the car to the garage, then to work, and hopefully back to the garage that day. Great guys and super convenient.”Blair Armitage · June 2026
“Can’t say enough wonderful things about Peakline!! I heard back super quickly and they were able to help me out the same day!! Kind, personable, honest and understanding. They will be my go-to from now on!”Emily Fothergill-Brown · March 2026
The rest of it
Pads, rotors, calipers and the lines between them, done on your driveway while the car sits where it already is.
Struts, shocks, springs, control arms, bushings and links, including the clunk you have stopped noticing.
The codes read and, more to the point, explained: what the car is actually reporting, and what it does and does not prove.
Tires elsewhere in the west end: Tires in Stittsville · Tires in Barrhaven. Everything else we do is on the services page, where tires covers seasonal changeovers, on or off rims, flat repairs (plug & patch), tire balancing, tpms reprogramming & replacement.
Mobile tire service has a page of its own, with no town in it: what it covers, what people describe when they ring, and what we will not do on a driveway.
