Suspension in Kanata
Kanata is where the truck starts and finishes, so it is the easiest place in the service area to get to on a weeknight.
Suspension
Struts, shocks, springs, control arms, bushings and links, including the clunk you have stopped noticing.
We come to you across Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven, Nepean and the rest of the west end, weeknights from 5pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, so the car is fixed where it already sits.
What it covers
Struts, shocks, springs and control arms, including the clunk you've been living with.
Suspension is the work that gets lived with longest, because it starts as a noise and a noise is easy to get used to. It is also the one job here with a condition attached, and it is worth reading before you book: we do the struts, shocks, springs, control arms, bushings and links on your driveway, and we do not do alignments. Anything we do that moves the geometry gets said out loud before we start, so the alignment afterwards is a booking you make knowingly rather than a bill you meet later.
How long it takes. A pair of front struts is most of an evening. A link or a bushing is often under an hour.
Why people call
You do not have to know what the part is called. These are the words people actually use, and any one of them is enough to book on.
The one thing we will ask back. Where is the noise coming from, and is it worse over bumps or in corners? Answer that in the first message and you will usually get a price without a second round of questions.
On the truck
What we will not do on a driveway. We do not do alignments. That needs a rack, and it needs one after the parts are on. Suspension work that changes geometry is done here and the alignment is booked afterwards, and we will tell you before we start if the job needs one.
What it costs
There is no price for a suspension job on this page on purpose. What it comes to depends on the vehicle, the parts it takes and what is found once a wheel is off, and a figure written here would either be wrong or be something you end up arguing about in a driveway.
You get the cost of the work and the cost of the drive together, before anything is booked, and it does not change once you have said yes.
Whatever we have published is on the pricing page, and the warranty, the emergency call-out and what happens with parts you supply yourself are on the FAQ.
Getting to you
Travel is priced by where you are rather than by the hour, and every postal code and village we cover has its own number against it. Kanata carries none at all, because that is where the truck starts and finishes its day.
A fuel surcharge is added to the estimate to cover the drive to you. You see both numbers, the work and the trip, before you agree to anything.
Look yours up on the service-area page, which carries the whole table and a checker for your own three letters.
What people say
“I honestly wish I could give these guys a higher rating than 5 stars. They were super quick to get a hold of and were just as fast to arrive. Had my belt changed at a super reasonable price. Would highly recommend !”GurfMcGurf · September 2025
“Solid characters, efficient and very knowledgeable. The mobile service directly to your laneway is very ideal!”Lisa Potter · September 2025
Written up for where you are
What tends to go wrong on this job around there, and where the car can be parked while we do it.
Kanata is where the truck starts and finishes, so it is the easiest place in the service area to get to on a weeknight.
Stittsville is mostly newer subdivisions with real driveways, which is close to ideal: the car is on level asphalt at the address it lives at, and there is room to work beside it.
Barrhaven is a mix. Longfields and Half Moon Bay are wide driveways and easy work; the older townhouse rows off Strandherd and Greenbank are shared lots where the spaces are tight and sometimes on a slope.
Where we go
Each town has its own page with the postal codes that apply there and what the trip costs.

The other three we get called about most: brakes, tires & tpms, diagnostics. Everything else Peakline does is on the services page.
Ask us
Tell us what the car is and what it's doing, and we'll come back to you with a price. Texting is the quickest way to get hold of us.
Next opening: Monday. If the car has stopped you driving, say so and we'll work around it.
We rent trailers too, from the same driveway. An equipment trailer and an enclosed cargo one.
Or send it over: your number, the car and what it is doing, one question at a time. It takes a minute and we price it from that.
