Brakes in Kanata
Pads, rotors, calipers and the lines between them, done on your driveway while the car sits where it already is.
Kanata
Struts, shocks, springs, control arms, bushings and links, including the clunk you have stopped noticing. We come to you in Kanata, weeknights from 5pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, so the car is fixed without a day off work.
Why people call
You do not have to know what the part is called. These are the words people actually use, and any one of them is enough to book on.
Kanata, specifically
The clunk we get called about most in Kanata comes from the driveway lip, not the road: the older streets around Katimavik and Glen Cairn have a step where the apron meets the road, and a worn sway bar link announces itself there before it announces itself anywhere else. It is a cheap part and a short job, and it is worth ruling out before anybody starts talking about struts.
On the truck
How long it takes. A pair of front struts is most of an evening. A link or a bushing is often under an hour.
What we will not do on a driveway. We do not do alignments. That needs a rack, and it needs one after the parts are on. Suspension work that changes geometry is done here and the alignment is booked afterwards, and we will tell you before we start if the job needs one.
Where the car can be
Kanata is where the truck starts and finishes, so it is the easiest place in the service area to get to on a weeknight. A driveway or a surface visitor space is all we need. The one thing to check is underground parking: a lot of the townhouse and condo blocks around Kanata Lakes and Bridlewood park below ground, and we cannot work down there. Book a visitor space outside and leave the car in it.
Areas we are in most weeks: Kanata North, Kanata Lakes, Bridlewood, Katimavik, Morgan's Grant, Trailwest.
What it costs
There is no price on this page on purpose. A suspension job depends on the vehicle, the parts it takes and what is found once a wheel is off, and a number written here would either be wrong or be something you have to argue about in a driveway.
You get the cost of the work and the travel together, before anything is booked, and nothing is charged until you have said yes. The travel band for every postal code we serve is on the service-area page.
What people say
“Super impressed with the service. Completed the job and no hidden fees. Would totally use them again.”Stephanie Vigier · September 2025
“After weeks of scrolling online listings and dealing with sketchy dealerships, I was beyond frustrated trying to find a fairly priced car. There was so much dishonesty out there that I didn’t know who to trust. Then I found one car that matched my style perfectly and was priced reasonably, but I didn’t want to take any chances. My dad suggested I call Peakline Automotive for a pre-purchase inspection, and it was the best decision I could have made. They showed up on time and inspected the car from top to bottom. They uncovered problems the seller never mentioned and even caught him in lies about issues that would have cost me a lot of money. They explained everything clearly so I understood exactly what I’d be getting into. The car looked great for its age, but thanks to their honesty, I avoided a huge (and expensive) mistake by not buying it. This service is worth every penny, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone buying a used car, especially with all the scams out there. I’ll definitely be using them again when I find another car I like.”Casandra Quinton · August 2025
The rest of it
Pads, rotors, calipers and the lines between them, done on your driveway while the car sits where it already is.
Seasonal changeovers, flat repairs, balancing and TPMS sensors, on your driveway instead of a queue at a tire shop in the first week of November.
The codes read and, more to the point, explained: what the car is actually reporting, and what it does and does not prove.

Mobile suspension repair has a page of its own, with no town in it: what it covers, what people describe when they ring, and what we will not do on a driveway.
